HKWC: Online version of the blank Kitchen Diary received last Christmas from Husband and dutifully filled with notes (and stains)
- Started The Madeleines Project in May 2006
- Realised that re-creating 'memory food' was great, but did not reflect reality of food actually being cooked (and sometimes created) in my kitchen
- Realised that was taking photos of all food created, but had nowhere to post them
- Realised that each "Madeleine" has a long gestation period, involving remembering food, tracking down recipe, gathering ingredients, cooking food, eating food, waiting for memories to 'materialise' and finally writing about it
- Realised that needed somewhere with a shorter turnover time: think - shop - cook - eat - write
- Created "Have Kitchen Will Cook".
Does exactly what it says on the tin
