A Whole Month Later...
Sorry, folks, it's been manic around here lately. Mostly because by end January, I will have a new kitchen. Actually the kitchen will be somewhere else. Since Monday, it's been established that the 'somewhere else' is thankfully just 2 streets from here in a lovely mews house with open-plan kitchen. So now all that remains to do is:
- order lots of variously shaped and sized boxes on the internet
- discuss with Skat whether our belongings are to be sorted BEFORE or AFTER moving (I'm all for the Before scenario)
- sort our things (I'll do most of it, I guess, so I'll pretty much do as I please, hihi)
- pack them
- get a shopping trolley and lots of friends to come and help move the stuff. Yes, a shopping trolley, that's how close our new home is to our current home. Nice!
- unpack everything
- get acquainted with a new kitchen and light (for photos!)
- PLAN HOUSEWARMING NIBBLES!
So until then, my posting will be sporadic at best, but I endeavour to bring you a little Christmassy something at some point...
